Online ticket sales – Opening day glitch! Problem solved!

Today Mon 2nd Nov saw our online ticket sales of Santa tickets go live. It quickly became apparent that there was a system glitch randomly affecting ticket sales. It was quickly traced to a problem within PayPal’s own systems which was affecting our online ordering facility. The decision was taken to close down all online sales and to cancel all orders that had already been placed with full refunds issued. We have been able to trace the cause of the fault and in conjunction with PayPal a fix has now been implemented. The online sales site is now fully operational again and working flawlessly. On behalf of the Telford Steam Railway we would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by a problem that was completely out of our control.
