Here is a insight to just a selection of the tasks our volunteers have undertaken over the past few weeks at Telford Steam Railway.

We have had Youth group sleep overs with track walks and camp fire. They have enjoyed their visit and we look forward to seeing them again shortly.

General maintainance work is ongoing with the sleeper coach as we look forward to having more youth groups staying over in the coming weeks.

Work has been carried out on the paviers at the tram yard.

A start made on the sleeper replacements on the tram track.

We have continued to clear the track side around the tram track.

Some work undertaken on the BSO.

Maintainance and cleaning of our normal running day coaches continues on a regular basis.

Maintainance, preparation and cleaning of the two Polar Express fitted coaches has started in preparation for our Christmas Event.

Some seating on a TSO removed for repair.

We have added to our wood store to be used by our Tram.

Preparations are well under way for our Anything Goes Diesel  Event this weekend.

Preparations are continuing for our Polar Express Event, reindeers are fattening up ready for Christmas.

Maintainance and Restoration continues on the Class 37 and Hector.
