Have any plans next weekend? Well now you do! Introducing the 1940’s Weekend at Telford Steam Railway. Running from Saturday 25th August to Sunday 26th August, this event will feature role play on a major scale and we need you to help make this a re-enactment to remember.
Are you strong willed? Are you fearless? Can you make your way around the treacherous steam railway war grounds? Yes? Then we need you! The Allies and the German forces will descend upon the mighty grounds of the Telford Steam Railway, covering Spring Village, Lawley, Horsehay and Dawley to battle through as the outcome of the war hangs in the balance but who will win?!
Telford Steam Railway encourages everyone from the young to the elderly to join in and have fun. If you think you’ve got what it takes to help win the war, or you simply want to come along and enjoy a great day out then pop down and visit us at The Old Loco Shed, Bridge Road, Horsehay, Telford TF4 2NF. There will be a range of stalls and local entertainment. Doors open at 9:15am until 5:30pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Admission for one day entry per person:

Please be aware that parking is limited, TSR parking spaces will be reserved for disability and motability vehicles displaying blue badges, using the postcode TF4 2NF. Additional parking has been kindly provided by the ‘Fitness Factory‘, Bridges Business Park, Horsehay. Please follow the signs on the day or for those using sat-nav, please use the postcode of TF4 3EE. Please respect our neighbours by not parking on private driveways or obstructing local roads.
*PLEASE NOTE: Purchasing a one day ticket will entitle an individual to entry on either the Saturday OR Sunday. Those wishing to attend on both Saturday AND Sunday are required to purchase a two day ticket. Special rates will be offered to TSR members.
