Easter opening, big preparations and general musings.

With our attention rightly focused on completing preparations for the opening of Lawlay station this Easter and the start of our 2015 season it was a welcome diversion to see our efforts recognised again in print. The March 2015 edition of Steam Railway has a news feature on our current progress and a brief review of what has gone in to the TSR reaching Lawley. This will no doubt raise our profile to a wider audience, one that may not necessarily visit our website or read our Facebook group. Whilst we have been working hard on Lawley, and preparations in general we have been busy developing other commercial activities to augment our primary income streams. A new range of catering options for childrens parties have been devised to improve upon that which we offered previously. We have also expanded our menu range in the tearoom to include a larger selection of hot and cold drinks, cold food and for the first time hot food. Please see our Furness Tearoom page for further details.

Everyday brings another challenge and everyday sees interest in our efforts and goals growing. As always we ask that if you feel that you could contribute to our vision, either by becoming a member of the TSR or by undertaking a driver experience course then please contact us for further details. We would love to hear from you.
