55 Years ago today!

On the 21st July 1962 the Wellington to Craven Arms branch saw it’s last passenger service out of preservation, the line official closed on 22nd July but as it was a Sunday no passenger services ran.

As a preserved railway we only open to the public on Sundays so it’s all turned around now!
