By Public Transport

By Rail

Telford main line railway station is approximately 2.5 miles from our location. From the Railway Station it is necessary to travel to Telford Bus Station and change buses. Whilst it is certainly possibe to walk from the station the route is not obvious and is very hilly.

By Bus

There are no public bus services on Sundays and Bank Holidays direct to Horsehay. Travel from Telford Bus Station to Dawley Bus Station approximately 0.5 miles away.

By Road

Follow signs to Telford ( M54 ) and then exit at Junction 6 and follow the A5223 towards Much Wenlock. At the traffic lights, which used to be a roundabout, go straight ahead. Now follow the brown tourist signs to the Telford Steam Railway. As a rough guide, you could print this page and the map above.
